1. ดำเนินการเรียนการสอนเกี่ยวกับรังสีวิทยาช่องปากและแม็กซิลโลเฟเชียล อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพแก่นักศึกษาหลังปริญญา นักศึกษาทันตแพทย์ และนักศึกษาผู้ช่วยทันตแพทย์
2. ส่งเสริมงานวิจัยและผลิตผลทางวิชาการ เพื่อเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการเรียนการสอนและการแก้ไขปัญหาสุขภาพช่องปากของประชาชน
3. ให้บริการถ่ายภาพรังสีช่องปากและแม็กซิลโลเฟเชียล อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพแก่ประชาชน เพื่อใช้ประกอบการวินิจฉัยโรค การวางแผนการ รักษา ตลอดจนติดตามผลการรักษาและให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับทันตสุขภาพแก่ประชาชน รักษา ตลอดจนติดตามผลการ รักษาและให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับทันตสุขภาพแก่ประชาชน
4. ส่งเสริมให้ทันตบุคลากรในภาคฯ ตระหนักถึงคุณค่าและทำนุบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรมของชาติ
วัตถุประสงค์
1. จัดการศึกษาหลักสูตรทันตแพทยศาสตรบัณฑิต เพื่อสร้างทันตแพทย์ที่มีความรู้และทักษะในการใช้รังสีเอกซ์ เพื่อการวินิจฉัยโรคในช่องปาก และแม็กซิลโลเฟเชียลอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ รวมทั้งสามารถควบคุมการใช้รังสีเอกซ์เพื่องานวินิจฉัยอย่างถูกต้อง
2. จัดการเรียนการสอนในหลักสูตรหลังปริญญาในสาขารังสีวิทยาช่องปากและแม็กซิลโลเฟเชียล และให้ความร่วมมือในการจัดการเรียนการสอนในหลักสูตรหลังปริญญาในสาขาอื่นของทันตแพทย์
3. ส่งเสริม สนับสนุน และให้ความร่วมมือในงานวิจัย เพื่อความก้าวหน้าในงานทันตกรรมของบุคลากรทั้งในและนอกส่วนงาน
4. ให้บริการที่มีประสิทธิภาพ รวดเร็วและประทับใจในการถ่ายภาพรังสีบริเวณช่องปากและแม็กซิลโลเฟเชียล แก่ผู้มารับบริการ
5. สนับสนุนและส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรมอันดีงามของชาติ
