End-Training Ceremony of the “2022 New Southbound Special Needs Oral Care Training Program” Hosted by Chung Shan Medical University School of Dentistry, Taiwan

On August 16, 2022, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, participated in the virtual End-Training Ceremony of the “2022 New Southbound Special Needs Oral Care Training Program” Hosted by Chung Shan Medical University School of Dentistry, Taiwan via Zoom Cloud Meetings.

The ceremony began with a thank-you speech from the deans of the participating institutions, which included Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Indonesia, Indonesia, Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam, Our Lady of Fatima University, and Manilla Central University, Philippines.

The trainees from the participating institutions then presented their reports. The trainees from Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry who undertook the report presentation were Dr. Pobploy Petchmedyai, a lecturer, and Ms. Orapin Langla, a dental assistant from Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Dental Hospital.

To conclude the ceremony, there was a virtual certificate presentation ceremony for successful trainees. Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, together with Prof. Chia-Tze, Kao, Chung Shan Medical University School of Dentistry, presented certificates to 6 dentists and 5 dental assistants of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry who have completed the online training from July 5 – 27, 2022.
