On July 9, 2022, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, was invited to participate in the virtual “2022 New Southbound Special Needs Oral Care Resource and Integration Project – International Symposium on Oral Health” with the theme “New Era in Special Care Dentistry”, arranged by Chung Shan Medical University, Taiwan via ZOOM Clouds Meeting.

In this regard, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornpoj Fuangtharnthip, Head of the Department of Advanced General Dentistry, contributed to this event by delivering his lecture entitled “Management of adult patients with special needs at Mahidol University Dental Hospital” and joined expert lecturers from Nippon Dental University, Japan, Universitas Indonesia, Indonesia, Manila Central University, and Our Lady of Fatima University, Philippines, and Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam, in sharing their experience and insights into special care dentistry.
