Exhibition of Achievements and Closing Ceremony of the “New Southbound Special Needs Patients Oral Care Training Program” hosted by Chung Shan Medical University School of Dentistry, Taiwan

On June 25, 2021, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Dean, Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry (MUDT) attended the Exhibition of Achievements and gave his appreciation remarks in the closing ceremony of the “New Southbound Special Needs Patients Oral Care Training Program”. It was organized and streamed live via Zoom application by Chung Shan Medical University School of Dentistry, Taiwan.

Prof. Chia-Tze, Kao, representative of Chung Shan Medical University School of Dentistry started the Exhibition of Achievements of the training program by delivering his lecture titled “World Health Organization’s Policy, Priorities and Recommendations for Special Needs Patients Oral Care under the Epidemic”.

Following the lecture, the successfully trained dentists and dental assistants from the University of Indonesia, Indonesia, Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam, Our Lady of Fatima University, and Manilla Central University, Philippines represented their institutions to give the reports on training results. In this regard, Dr. Pisit Charoenwongwatthana and Miss Supannee Suyalan (dental assistant) represented MUDT.

The closing ceremony ended with the successfully trained dentists and dental assistants from all participating institutions receiving the certificates of the program completion, virtually presented by Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, together with Prof. Chia-Tze, Kao. These included 11 dentists and 6 dental assistants from MUDT.
