On February 28, 2020, Prof. Dr. Waranun Buajeeb (Dean, MUFD) together with administrative board, senior academic personnel, the faculty personnel and students made a donation for Pra Baht Nam Phu Temple, Lopburi Province to support their medical care regularly provided to AIDs patients. The donation campaign initiated by the supervisory committee from School of Dental Assistant, MUFD in a collaboration with other sections in MUFD and other individuals took place at the Lobby of Chalermprakiat Building. Phra Rat Wisutthi Prachanat (Alogkot Tikkapanyo) as representative of the temple received the donation amounts and other daily appliances.

On March 2 – 4, 2020, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Mobile Dental Service Center in cooperation with the faculty members of the Operative Dentistry Section from Department of Operative Dentistry and Endodontics, Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry (MUFD) actively provided comprehensive dental treatments such as tooth filling, scailing, tooth extraction, and impacted tooth removal to local students and general individuals at Sirirat Border Patrol Police School and Baan Suanpetch Border Patrol Police School in Lamae District, Chumphon Province.

In addition, both institutes gracefully welcomed HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn who came to observe the operation of the mobile dental unit of the center. During the observation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Choltacha Harnirattisa and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pisol Senawongse (Deputy Dean for Physical Environment and International Relations, MUFD) together with dentists, dental assistants, and staff as a team verbally presented the performance report of the dental center to HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the mobile dental service center of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry (MUFD) to observe the dental treatments administered to local students, including the general public, at Samakompayaban Thai School in Song Khwae District, Nan Province during March 15 – 16, 2020. The treatments at this time consisted of dental filling, scaling, tooth extraction as well as surgical extraction of impacted teeth. During the visit, Prof. Dr. Waranun Buajeeb (Dean, MUFD) and Clinical Prof. Emeritus Dr. Theeralaksana Suddhasthira (Advisor and Former Dean, MUFD) together with dentists, dental assistants, and the faculty staff escorted HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn around the dental units and verbally presented the performance report of the center.

On June 24, 2020, Prof. Dr. Waranun Buajeeb, Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry (MUDT) along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rudee Surarit, Deputy Dean for Research of MUDT represented the faculty to provide 230 M-Dent toothbrushes to a CSR project called “Boat of Sharing at Toong Phayathai” currently run by Faculty of Science, Mahidol University.

In that regard, Dr. Ruchareka Wittayawuttikul, Deputy Dean for Quality Development and Social Engagement of the Faculty of Science, was invited to receive the products in the hallway on the 1st floor of the 50th Anniversary of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building.

The main target for the Boat of Sharing campaign is to help households from 230 families in Soi Suan Ngern Community, which are now suffering from the impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak, by providing them with final goods and daily needs.
