Welcome Message from Head of Department of Operative Dentistry and Endodontics

It is my great honor to welcome all colleagues, researchers and clinicians to the 1^st Mahidol International Symposium on Restorative Dentistry (MIRD) on the auspicious occasion of the 50^th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University.

Restorative Dentistry is a dynamic topic as restorative materials and technique is continuously developed and changing. This improvement is based on hundreds of sound basic and clinical researches, which aims to provide valuable information in performing an excellent restoration.  This symposium is thus arranged to create a platform for exchanging ideas, sharing views on new knowledge, and technologies in Restorative Dentistry with many experts in the field.

The 2-day scientific program under the theme “New Strategies for Restorative Excellence” includes many interesting topics from distinguished speakers as well as pre-symposium and hand-on activities. We believe that our efforts and commitment to excellence in restorative dentistry will make all participants enjoy the benefits of optimizing their knowledge and experience during their attendance at the event.
