The essential information that student must fill in are the number of the credit, the GPA (the student
can check this information in Grade Report in Student Service System), time, date and venue of the exam as
well as the information of the major advisor and examination committee.

The requirement for the Thesis Defense Examination Committee

Master’s degree: The Thesis Defense Examination Committee consists of at least 3 committee members.

Chair: Must not be the thesis advisor:
- The external examiner who hold Ph.D. degree or equivalent and have at least 10
publications in national level.

- Or a regular instructor in curriculum, hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent or have at least
an academic title of no less than an associate professor in the particular field or related
field of study with at least 3 publications in 5 years backdate (at least 1 publication must
be research publication).

Members:

- A regular instructor in curriculum, hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent or have at least an
academic title of no less than an associate professor in the particular field or related
field of study with at least 3 publications in 5 years backdate (at least 1 publication must
be research publication).
- The external examiner who hold Ph.D. degree or equivalent and have at least 10
publications in national level.
