Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

    At the end of program study, students will be able to

    PLO 1 Implement information technology, research, and life-long learning skills for selfdevelopment in
             accordance to the principles of the 21st century learning environment

    PLO 2 Diagnose dentofacial deformities and malocclusions accurately using data gathered from patients
             following the professional standards of orthodontics

    PLO 3 Formulate a comprehensive orthodontic treatment plan with collaboration in a multidisciplinary
             team, giving a priority to a patient-centered care.

    PLO 4 Manage orthodontic problems using a holistic approach, according to the professional standards
             of orthodontic practice

    PLO 5 Communicate with patients or their caregivers, colleagues, a multidisciplinary team, and the public
             by using appropriate methods

Graduation Requirement
    1. Total time of study should not exceed the study plan.
    2. Students must complete courses as stated in the curriculum at least 40 credits including thesis (12 credits)
       and required course (22 credits), elective courses (6 credits) in total with a minimum CUM-GPA of 3.00
    3. Students must meet the English Competence Standard of Graduate Students, Mahidol University defined
       by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
    4. Students must participate in skill development activities of the Graduate Studies, Mahidol University
    5. Students must submit thesis, pass the thesis defense and present and/or submit manuscript for
       publicatrion in standard journal or a conference’ s proceedings by following Regulations of Mahidol
       University on Graduate Studies and the oral thesis defense must be open to public .
    6. Students must review the assigned cases in diagnosis, treatment plan, treatment progress, summary and
       discussion of treatment and results. At least 10 patient documents for clinical examination must be
       submitted and assigned case to the oral examination committee with and one selected case will be
       presented by the student with the passing score 75 from 100 score in total.
