               6. Student’s Specific Qualification

               The  students who  enroll to  the  Higher  Graduate  Diploma Program in  Orthodontics  must possess  the

               following “Special Characteristics”:


                   1.  A  skill  to  provide  advanced  orthodontic treatment for  various  craniofacial syndromes by
                       experiencing with a variety of craniofacial syndromes and modern dental instruments in orthodontic

                       clinic
                   2.  Able to manage patients with concurrent obstructive sleep apnea by experiencing with patients with
                       concurrent obstructive sleep apnea in orthodontic clinic

                   3.  Be responsible to patients and communities with social consciousness by joining the community
                       service such as the free dental service in Dental Public Health Day and other special day as organized

                       by the faculty, and provide free service for people in the underserved areas of various provinces in
                       the first of study.



               7. Graduation Requirement

                    1.  Total time of study should not exceed the study plan.

                    2.  Students must complete courses as stated in the curriculum at least 30 credits including required
                       course (24 credits) and elective courses (not less than 6 credits) in total with a minimum CUM-GPA

                       of 3.00
                    3.  Students must participate in skill development activities of the Graduate Studies, Mahidol University
                    4.  Students must meet the English Competence Standard of Graduate Students, Mahidol University

                       defined by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
                    5.  Students must review the assigned cases’ diagnosis, treatment plan, treatment progress, summary and

                       discussion of treatment and results. At least 10 documented cases must be submitted for evaluation.
                       One of these 10 cases will be selected for an oral presentation. The passing score is 75% (Total score).
