3. Expected Learning Outcomes of the curriculum (ELOs)
The graduates should be able to:
ELOs 1 Exhibit professional and moral conducts as well as ethical standard in orthodontic practice
ELOs 2 Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of important principles and theories in
orthodontics and others related fields, in providing orthodontic treatment
ELOs 3 Critique research articles in orthodontics and related biomedical sciences, as well as its
applications in orthodontic practice
ELOs 4 Communicate with patients or their caregivers, colleagues, a multidisciplinary team, and the
public by using appropriate methods
ELOs 5 Conduct a scientific presentation and research analysis using appropriate softwares and
techniques
ELOs 6 Manage orthodontic problems in patients with dentofacial deformities, complicated
malocclusions, sleep apnea, or other associated syndromes using a holistic approach,
according to the professional standards of orthodontic practice
