1. Philosophy and Justification of the Curriculum

This curriculum is a multidisciplinary has a curriculum that commitment to produce a high-level
academic and researchers in the field of Operative Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics,
Biomaterial Sciences, Metal and Metallurgy Sciences. To develop academics’ skills and researches to
international standards which enable the academics to freely pioneer new knowledge in order to create
technological advances and promote the ability to produce dental biomaterials for domestic use. In addition,
the program also aims to produce the knowledgeable and skillful academics who exercise their expertise in
work base on basis of morality, ethics and professional.

2. Objectives of the Program

By the end of the study, the Doctor of Philosophy is qualified according to the graduate qualification
standards as follows:
- Have a profound knowledge and understanding of the theories and principles

- Create, innovate research or novelty knowledge in dental biomaterial science
- Have morality, ethics and ethics in conducting research. Innovation in dental biomaterial science
- Develop leadership skill, efficiently interpret through communication

3. Expected Learning Outcomes of the curriculum (ELOs)

After completion, graduates should be able to:
ELOs 1 Insight into the theories, principles and concepts which are the fundamentals of dental
biomaterials science deeply, broadly, presently and can acquire knowledge by studying and

using research processes to develop innovation or create novelty knowledge
ELOs 2 Synthesize, critique the knowledge, issues and essential problems in dentistry, biomaterials

science to create a research, innovation or new knowledge
ELOs 3 Exhibit morality, ethics, and ethics in conducting research or the creation of new innovations
ELOs 4 Express and interpret the ideas with discretion, effectively communicate via speaking and

writing skill.
