The Emblem of the Faculty

The color of the Faculty of Dentistry is “Violet”

The symbolic flowering plant

(Suddhasinobol)

Scientific name: Nymphaea capensis var zanzibarien-sis.
It is found growing abundantly in freshwater habitats in
tropical regions of Africa. It is also called “Royal Purple”.

Mascot

The official mascot of Faculty of Dentistry are
“Denta” and “Dentie” which designed by Mr. Pirom
Sukhajintanakarn a winner of the mascot naming and
designing contest in 2009. Since March 2009 Denta
and Dentie has been used as Faculty’s official mascot.
The Tooth Fairy of Mahidol University Faculty of
Dentistry, “Khun Mhor Yim Sai” and “Nong
Garmmy” are here to keep our teeth and gums
healthy with their oral health care and guidance.
They have been the dental school’s new official
mascot since June 2021.
