Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)
PLO 1 Exhibit professional and moral conducts as well as ethical standard in orthodontic practice
PLO 2 Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of important principles and theories in orthodontics
and others related fields, in providing orthodontic treatment
PLO 3 Critique research articles in orthodontics and related biomedical sciences, as well as its
applications in orthodontic practice
PLO 4 Communicate with patients or their caregivers, colleagues, a multidisciplinary team, and the public
by using appropriate methods
PLO 5 Conduct a scientific presentation and research analysis using appropriate softwares and techniques
PLO 6 Manage orthodontic problems in pateints with dentofacial deformities, complicated
malocclusions, sleep apnea, or other associated syndromes using a holistic approach, according
to the professional standards of orthodontic practice

Graduation Requirement
1. Total time of study should not exceed the study plan.
2. Students must complete courses as stated in the curriculum at least 30 credits including required course
(24 credits) and elective courses (not less than 6 credits) in total with a minimum CUM-GPA of 3.00
3. Students must participate in skill development activities of the Graduate Studies, Mahidol University
4. Students must meet the English Competence Standard of Graduate Students, Mahidol University defined
by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
5. Students must review the assigned cases’ diagnosis, treatment plan, treatment progress, summary and
discussion of treatment and results. At least 10 documented cases must be submitted for evaluation.
One of these 10 cases will be selected for an oral presentation. The passing score is 75% (Total score).
