Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Dental Hospital

History

In 1995, Mahidol University approved the project for the establishment of the Golden Jubilee Medical Center on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great’s completion of 50 years of reign. This initiative aimed to fulfill His Majesty’s royal aspirations to decentralize medical and dental services to urban communities.

With His Majesty’s gracious consent, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presided over the opening ceremony of the Golden Jubilee Medical Center and the Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Dental Hospital.

The Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Dental Hospital, affiliated with the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University, is located in Salaya Subdistrict, Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province.

It is a modern dental hospital providing comprehensive dental services in all branches, focusing on oral health prevention and promotion among patients.

Additionally, the hospital provides dental services to the public and university personnel, both during and after office hours.

Clinics:

Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Dental Hospital consists of various clinics, including:

2^nd floor: General Dentistry and Masticatory Science Clinic:

• • Providing emergency treatment for patients with urgent oral issues.
  • Offering general and specialized dental care by appointment.
  • Providing comprehensive dental care for new patients.

Special Dental Clinic:

• • Providing specialized dental care for patients in all branches by appointment, both during and after office hours.

Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Clinic:

• • Offering digital radiography services, allowing images to be transmitted to the examination room via computer systems.
  • Providing Dental CT imaging services for precise diagnosis and treatment planning.

Pediatric Dental Clinic:

• • Providing dental care for general pediatric patients under 12 years old.
  • Offering specialized dental care for pediatric patients who require sedation dentistry in certain cases.

3^rd floor: Orthodontic Clinic:

• • Providing orthodontic treatment for referred patients from clinics and nearby hospitals, especially for complex cases such as orthognathic surgery combined with orthodontic treatment or cases with cleft palate.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic:

• • Providing various dental treatments such as extractions, wisdom tooth removal, orthognathic surgery, endodontics, or complex cases such as tumors or cancers.

Geriatric and Maxillofacial Prosthetic Clinic:

• • Providing dental care for elderly patients aged 60 and above to international standards. 
  • Offering dental treatment for patients with facial or jaw disabilities by providing prosthetic appliances such as dentures, artificial eyes, ears, or fingers.

Periodontology and Oral Medicine Clinic:

• • Treating patients with periodontal diseases and providing follow-up care and education for self-care.
  • Performing gum surgeries, endodontics, and treating various oral diseases.

4^th floor: Operative Dentistry and Endodontic Clinic:

• • Operative Dentistry: Offering specialized dental treatment and supporting education to produce quality dental graduates to meet the needs of patients.
  • Endodontic: Providing root canal treatment and surgeries and supporting education to produce quality dental graduates.

Interdisciplinary and Implant Dental Clinic  :

• • Providing specialized dental services by expert dentists in all branches, during office hours only.

Prosthodontics Clinic:

• • Providing dental treatment for patients requiring prosthetic dentistry, such as dental implants or root canal therapy, to replace lost teeth and restore normal function, allowing patients to live normal lives.
