On March 5, 2024, Clinical Professor Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, along with Associate Professor Dr. Pornpoj Fuangtharnthip, Head of the Department of Advanced General Dentistry, extended a warm welcome to Professor Jun Tsuruta from the Faculty of Dentistry, Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU), Japan. Professor Tsuruta visited to engage in discussions and share insights about the dental curriculum.

In this regard, Professor Jun Tsuruta was accompanied by seven TMDU dental students from the third to sixth year. These students actively participated in a student exchange/clinical observation program and attended the Mahidol International Dental School (MIDS) clinical classes held at the Dental Hospital, Phayathai Campus from March 5-12, 2024. Furthermore, TMDU students took part in cultural exchange sessions with Mahidol dental students, promoting the sharing of Japanese and Thai culture. Additionally, they had the opportunity to visit dental clinics at Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Dental Hospital, Salaya Campus, and Phutthamonthon Hospital in Nakhon Pathom Province.
