The electron microscope is used to study either hard or soft tissue surface under vacuum. The equipment’s magnification ranges from 5x to 300,000x. The image is projected via the use of secondary electron, and backscattered electron. Also, it is capable of elemental analysis using EDS program from the use of X-ray. It can operate under low vacuum without having to coat the sample.
