The blade rotates at a speed of 300-500 revolutions per minute. The wheel rotation speed can be adjusted 100 rpm at a time. The constant feed speed into the blade can be adjusted from  0.005 to 3.000  mm per second. The pressing force can be adjusted to 3 levels: Low 20N, Medium 40N, and High 60N. The sample position can be fed into the cutting plane along the Y-axis at increments of 0.01 mm over a distance of 105 mm, and along the X-axis at increments of 0.005 mm over a distance of 60 mm.
