On May 18, 2026, 11th-grade students from Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Secondary) stepped out of the classroom for an inspiring educational visit to the Sirindhorn Dental Museum, Asia’s first and most modern dental museum, located at the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU). The visit also included a tour of the Museum of Tropical Medicine and the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, organized under the Phaya Thai Area Museum Collaboration Project.
During the visit, the students explored the DTMU Story Telling exhibition titled “From Wisdom Teeth to the Maxillofacial Region.” They also gained hands-on knowledge about the mechanics and operating principles of dental handpieces from the head of the maintenance unit and their team, followed by an exclusive tour of the practical learning environment inside the Simulation Lab.
This immersive activity not only enhanced the students’ understanding of the dental profession and dental technology but also broadened their horizons, sparking inspiration for their future educational and career paths in the medical field.
