Farewell Ceremony for the Advanced Dental Assistant Certificate Program (Class of 2025)

On May 15, 2026, School of Dental Assistant at Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), hosted the Farewell Ceremony for students graduating from the Advanced Dental Assistant Certificate Program (Academic Year 2025). The event, held at Debaratana Auditorium on the 4th floor on the 50th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, was organized to congratulate the graduates and prepare them as they step into their professional careers.

The ceremony was gracefully presided over by Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU, who delivered an inspiring address emphasizing the crucial role of dental assistants in elevating Thailand’s public healthcare system. Lecturer Dr. Dechsak Nakhapaksirat, Chair of the Program Administration Committee, also gave a report on the objectives of the event.

The heartwarming event featured a variety of meaningful activities:

  • Student Feedback Forum: A session dedicated to gathering constructive feedback from the graduates to further develop and enhance the curriculum for future cohorts.
  • Basri Ceremony: A traditional Thai blessing ceremony where executives and faculty members bestowed good wishes upon the graduates for prosperity and morale in their future endeavors.
  • Wai Kru & Farewell Ceremony: Student representatives presented traditional floral trays and garlands to express their deep gratitude to their teachers. The session also included heartfelt speeches from first-year students and special performances celebrating the strong bonds between seniors and juniors.
  • Commemorative Garland Laying: A tribute to Professor Emeritus Dr. Isara Yuktanandana, the visionary founder and first Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University.

This Farewell Ceremony signifies not just the end of an academic journey, but the beginning of a lifelong commitment. These graduates are now ready to serve society as high-quality healthcare professionals, armed with exceptional skills and deep compassion, truly reflecting the core identity of Mahidol University.
