On May 6, 2026, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), hosted the White Coat Ceremony for 4th-year dental students from both Thai and International Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) programs for the 2026 academic year.
The auspicious ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU. He was joined by the executive team, department heads, faculty members, and academic advisors who attended to honor and congratulate the students on this significant milestone.

The White Coat Ceremony serves as a pivotal rite of passage. It symbolizes the students’ readiness, instilling a deep sense of duty, professionalism, and responsibility as they transition from preclinical studies to providing real-world clinical care to patients. The event was beautifully organized by the Student Affairs and Alumni Relations Unit in collaboration with the Mahidol University Dental Student Association, and was held at the Debaratana Auditorium on the 4th floor on the 50th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building.
