On May 6, 2026, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), organized the “Executives Meet Parents” event for the parents of 4th-year dental students (Academic Year 2026). The initiative aimed to build mutual understanding and provide a platform for parents to engage with the executive team and program directors regarding the ongoing development of students in both the regular and international Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) programs.
The event was presided over by Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU, who delivered a warm welcome speech. He congratulated the fourth year students on reaching a crucial milestone: the transition from preclinical studies to real-world patient care in the dental clinics.
An open forum was held to facilitate a constructive exchange of ideas between the faculty and parents. Key topics discussed included:
Following the forum, parents of students in the International Program were invited for an exclusive tour of the dental clinics and simulation labs. This allowed them to witness firsthand the modern, state-of-the-art facilities where their children will practice. Faculty members were present to answer questions directly, reinforcing confidence in DTMU’s educational standards and its learning-conducive environment.
This event marks a significant step in strengthening the partnership between the institution and families, ensuring that students receive the comprehensive support needed to graduate as highly skilled, ethical dentists ready to serve society.
