On April 29, 2026, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, in collaboration with The Continuing Dental Education Center and Academic Affairs section, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), organized an academic event titled “Digital Era in Dentistry: Intraoral Scanner & CBCT.” The event was held at the Debaratana Auditorium, 4th Floor, 50th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, aiming to promote learning and enhance digital technology skills in modern dental practices.
The event focused on transferring practical knowledge and experiences regarding the use of advanced technology. Participants comprehensively learned how to operate software from CBCT machines and had the opportunity to practice with Intraoral Scanners in real-life simulations. This hands-on experience strengthened their understanding and skills, enabling effective and immediate application in their clinical operations.
Additionally, the event was broadcast via Facebook Live to provide dentists and interested individuals nationwide with thorough access to this valuable knowledge. This initiative perfectly reflects DTMU’s unwavering commitment to being the nation’s premier hub for dental learning and professional development.
