“Dental Museum from Historical Roots to ‘Tooth Tracing'” Project for High School Students

On April 24, 2026, Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), presided over the opening ceremony of the “Dental Museum from Historical Roots to ‘Tooth Tracing'” project. Organized for the first batch of high school students in the 2026 fiscal year, the event took place at the Sirindhorn Dental Museum, 1st Floor, 50th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building.

The ceremony was attended by Assistant Professor Surakit Visuttiwattanakorn, Director of Dental Hospital, along with faculty members, staff, and guest speakers from the Museum and Archives Unit, School of Dental Assistant, School of Dental Technology, and the Simulation Center.

The project welcomed 40 high school students who participated in interactive, hands-on learning activities across four operational stations:

  • The Sirindhorn Dental Museum Station
  • The School of Dental Assistant Station
  • The School of Dental Technology Station
  • The Simulation Center Station

These comprehensive activities were designed to enhance the students’ knowledge, understanding, and practical experience in dentistry, successfully bridging historical contexts with modern professional learning.

At the conclusion of the event, Assistant Professor Surakit Visuttiwattanakorn presided over the closing ceremony and presented certificates to all participating students, inspiring the next generation of dental professionals.
