On April 22, 2026, the Satriwitthaya Association under the Royal Patronage of Princess Srinagarindra brought a delegation of teachers and secondary school students from Satriwitthaya School to visit the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU). The group explored the teaching and learning environment of the Certificate Program in Dental Technician program at the School of Dental Technology and visited the Orthodontic Clinic.
The students received a warm welcome and career inspiration from esteemed faculty members from Department of Orthodontics who are also Satriwitthaya alumnae: Clinical Professor Emeritus Jiraporn Chaiwat, Associate Professor Orapin Termvidchakorn, and Associate Professor Dr. Rochaya Chintavalakorn. Additionally, Clinical Professor Nita Viwattanatipa from the Department provided an informative lecture on pursuing the Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) program, including the International Program.
The visit featured hands-on workshops on dental examinations and demonstrations of advanced 3D Scanning and 3D Printing technologies at the Orthodontic Clinic. The expert team, including Assistant Professor Dr. Theerasak Nakornnoi, Clinical Professor Nita Viwattanatipa, Dr. Sakda Wonghinkong, Dr. Thanchanok Prokati, and Lecturer Siew Peng Neoh, shared their expertise. The students also toured the “Sirindhorn Dental Museum,” Asia’s first and most modern dental museum. This activity aimed to spark inspiration and provide a clearer professional roadmap for the students’ future careers.
