Mahidol Dental Foundation and Alumni Association Host “Rak Fun, Pun Nam Jai” Charity Ballroom Dance to Support Underprivileged Patients and Student Scholarships

On March 24, 2026, Mahidol University Dental Foundation, in collaboration with the Mahidol University Dental Alumni Association, hosted the “Rak Fun, Pun Nam Jai” Charity Ballroom Dance at the Mayfair Grand Ballroom, The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam, Bangkok.

The event commenced with a report by Dr. Rattana Chantadul, Vice President of Mahidol University Dentistry Alumni Association, outlining the noble objectives: raising funds for the Mahidol University Dental Foundation to assist underprivileged patients at the Faculty’s Dental Hospital, providing scholarships for students in financial need, and supporting the Alumni Association’s fund for members in distress.

Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Chairman of the Foundation and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), presided over the opening ceremony and officially accepted donations from generous contributors. Ms. Charin Sumanon, Fundraising Chairperson, expressed sincere gratitude to all distinguished guests and supporters for their invaluable contributions.

The evening featured an elegant and heartwarming atmosphere, highlighted by an opening floor performance by Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej and Assistant Professor Woranun Prapansilp, Executive Director of the Foundation. Guests enjoyed an enchanting night of ballroom dancing, honorary vocal performances, and a lucky draw, all coming together for a common cause of sharing kindness through dentistry.
