On March 19 – 20, 2026, Clinical Professor Dr. Somchai Urapepon, Deputy Dean for Information Technology and Educational Support, along with Lecturer Dr. Dechsak Nakapaksirat, Assistant Dean for Dental Education, Chair of the Advanced Dental Assistant Certificate Program Executive Committee, and staff from the School of Dental Assistance, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), warmly welcomed dentists and dental personnel from Rayong Hospital. The delegation visited DTMU to study the educational management of the School of Dental Assistance.

During the visit, the DTMU School of Dental Assistance shared comprehensive knowledge covering all aspects of its operations, including:

• Management of the Advanced Dental Assistant Certificate Program
• Teaching, learning, and educational assessment methods
• Student activities, welfare, and the academic advisor system
• Clinical practice observation of dental assistant students at the Dental Hospital’s clinics

This study visit aimed to exchange Best Practices and empower the Rayong Hospital delegation to apply the acquired knowledge to develop and elevate the quality of their upcoming School of Dental Assisting.
