On March 11, 2026, the Committee of Student Advisors of Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), organized the “2nd Advisor Meeting Event for the Academic Year 2025.” This event served as a creative space to foster learning and strengthen the relationship between faculty members and dental students in a warm, welcoming atmosphere, connecting them through lifestyle activities, arts, and culture.
The event aimed to promote mental well-being and experiential learning outside the classroom. It featured two main activities:
Lunch, Talk and Polaroid: A casual gathering where advisors and students from each mentorship line enjoyed lunch together, sharing experiences closely. Students also captured memorable moments with Polaroid cameras and personally decorated the photos as keepsakes.
DTMU GO WMG Trip (Wat – Museum – Art Gallery): A historical and artistic excursion providing a fresh perspective outside the classroom. Faculty and students admired the beautiful Thai architecture at Wat Ratchanatdaram Worawihan, explored history at the Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall, and appreciated contemporary art at the Ratchadamnoen Contemporary Art Center.
This initiative not only bridged the gap between teachers and students but also encouraged learning through art and history. This approach is vital in nurturing humanity and social awareness—essential qualities of high-caliber dentists. The event reflects DTMU’s commitment to caring for its students like family, supporting their growth into medical professionals equipped with both academic excellence and moral integrity.
