On February 26, 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), graciously delivered welcome remarks to participants at the academic project presentation under the “Training Program in Medical and Public Health Technology for Medical and Public Health Personnel from the Lao PDR under the Royal Patronage of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (Batch 28).”
On this occasion, Professor Emeritus Dr. Kraisid Tontisirin, Advisor to the Royal Initiative Program, delivered the opening remarks for the presentation of development projects. The event was held at the Debaratana Dental Activity Club Room, 4th Floor (Rear Section), 50th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, DTMU.
A total of 11 training programs participated in the presentations. Associate Professor Dr. Tippanart Vichayanrat, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Organizational Communication, DTMU, chaired the sessions for the Community Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Physical Therapy programs.
For the Community Dentistry program, the project titled “Oral Health Promotion and Bright Smiles for Preschool Children” was presented.
This presentation provided an opportunity for medical and public health personnel from the Lao PDR to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and present practical projects that contribute to professional development in their respective fields. The activity reflected the strong and continuous collaboration between Thailand and the Lao PDR and aimed to strengthen the capacity of healthcare personnel to further enhance the quality of medical and public health services.
