On February 18, 2026, the Dental Hospital, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), celebrated a major achievement in sustainable environmental health management. Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU, alongside Associate Professor Dr. Pisol Senawongse, Deputy Dean for Research, Facilities and Environment, received the Bangkok GREEN & CLEAN Hospital Plus (BKKGC+) Award – Gold Level for the Fiscal Year 2025 from the Medical Service Department, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA).
The award ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Tavida Kamolvej, Deputy Governor of Bangkok, at the Irawat Pattana Building, Bangkok City Hall (Din Daeng). The event honored healthcare institutions dedicated to improving quality of life through concrete environmental practices.
Receiving the BKKGC+ Gold Level award reaffirms DTMU’s commitment to becoming a leading “Green Dental Hospital.” This recognition highlights the hospital’s excellence in standard waste management, energy efficiency, pollution control, and safety measures, ensuring a healthy environment for patients, staff, and society.
