The Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU) executives participated in the international academic conference titled “International Collaborative Symposium on Development of Human Resources in Practical Oral Health and Treatment”, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from February 8–9, 2026. The delegation was led by Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean, together with Associate Professor Dr. Tippanart Vichayanrat, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Organizational Communication.

The symposium was co-organized by the Faculty of Dentistry, Niigata University, Japan, and the Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and took place at the Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur Hotel. The program included a range of academic activities, such as Special Lectures delivered by international speakers and dental professionals, Symposium sessions, a Deans Meeting, as well as Poster and Oral Presentations. These activities aimed to promote academic exchange and strengthen collaboration and good relations among participating institutions from different countries.

Participation in this symposium formed part of the ongoing academic collaboration between DTMU and the Faculty of Dentistry, Niigata University under their existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The collaboration in this event aims to support the development of human resources in practical oral health and dental treatment at the international level.
