On February 2, 2026, Emeritus Professor Kraisid Tontisirin, Projects Consultant of The Office of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Projects, extended a warm welcome and delivered opening remarks to the participants of the Training Program in Technology of Medicine and Public Health for Health Personnel from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Batch 28), an initiative launched by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

The opening ceremony featured welcoming remarks by Professor Dr. Sompop Prathanturarug, Vice President for Strategic Planning, Quality Development and Social Engagement of Mahidol University; Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA); and Mr. Sisavath Inphachanh, Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to the Kingdom of Thailand.

Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), and Associate Professor Dr. Tippanart Vichayanrat, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Organizational Communication, also extended their welcome to the delegates. The event was held at the Debaratana Auditorium on the 4^th floor of the 50^th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University.

The training program comprised a total of 60 participants, divided into two groups: Group 1 with 33 participants and Group 2 with 27 participants. DTMU was assigned to conduct the Dental Program (Community Dentistry Program) from February 2 to March 5, 2026. The program included 4 participants as listed below:

   Xaisetha District Hospital, Attapeu Province

   Thateng District Hospital, Sekong Province

4. Mr. Soulisack Kenemany
   Moonlapamok District Hospital, Champasak Province
