Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), in collaboration with the Dental Council of Thailand, has launched a comprehensive relief initiative for flood victims in Southern Thailand, deploying specialized staff for two key missions:
In this regard, Associate Professor Tawepong Arayapisit, Department of Anatomy, DTMU, has been deployed to Songkhla Province to join the Forensic Odontology team. Working in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Health, the Dental Council, and Prince of Songkla University, he has been assisting in victim identification processes since November 29, 2025.
Equipment Repair and Restoration Mission Staff from the Physical and Environment Unit are scheduled to operate in Hat Yai District, Songkhla, to support the maintenance and repair of dental units in flood-affected clinics. This operation, taking place from December 2–6, 2025 (Phase 1), aims to restore essential dental equipment, enabling clinics to resume safe and effective services for the public.
