On October 29, 2025, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), in collaboration with National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, organized the online guidance session “2025 Discover Grad Nursing Programs with NCKU Alumni and Current Students.” The event was broadcast via Webex Cisco and Facebook Live.

The session aimed to strengthen academic and cultural collaboration between Thailand and Taiwan (R.O.C.) by introducing NCKU’s graduate nursing programs (Master’s and PhD) to interested Thai students.

Professor Dr. Waranun Buajeeb, Dean’s Advisor and Director of the NCKU Overseas Hub in Thailand, presided over the event and gave the opening remarks. The session was moderated by Assistant Professor Dulyapong Rungraungrayabkul (Department of Oral Medicine and Periodontology) and Lecturer Dr. Binit Shrestha (Department of Prosthodontics).

The event featured key presentations and insightful discussions, including:

• An overview of the MOE Scholarship by Ms. Jaruwan Jaranupong (Director, Taiwan Education Center, Thailand).
• An introduction to NCKU’s graduate nursing programs by Professor Yu-Yun Alice Hsu (Director & Professor, Department of Nursing, NCKU).
• A highlight panel interview, “From Student Life to Career Path,” featuring firsthand experiences from NCKU alumna Ms. Chanisara Chuenchomnoy and current student Lecturer Areeya Prasertsang, who discussed academic life and living in Tainan, Taiwan.
