On October 21, 2025, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), provided complimentary dental services to the public to commemorate the 125th birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra, the Princess Mother (“Somdet Ya”), and to mark National Dental Public Health Day.

The event was officially opened by Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU, who presided over a tribute ceremony before the portrait of the Princess Mother. The activity was held to make royal merit and to continue the Princess Mother’s legacy of promoting oral health for all Thais.

The faculty offered essential dental treatments (one per person), including fillings, extractions, wisdom tooth surgery, emergency root canal treatment, scaling, pediatric dentistry, and dental X-rays.

In addition to clinical services, there was collaboration among the Department of Community Dentistry, Department of Pharmacology, and the School of Dental Technology of DTMU, together with the Dental Faculty Consortium of Thailand (DFCT), to conduct oral health promotion activities, educating the public on proper oral hygiene. The event was held at the DTMU Dental Hospital (Phayathai Campus) and the Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Dental Hospital (Salaya Campus), drawing a large number of people from the community.
