From October 8–10, 2025, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), hosted “A Journey in Biomedical Discovery,” a special program for high school students. The event, which was officially opened on October 8 by Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU, aimed to inspire the next generation of dental professionals.
This program was a collaborative effort between the Departments of Anatomy, Oral Biology, Oral Microbiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, and Pharmacology, along with the Continuing Education and Academic Affairs, DTMU. It was designed to introduce students to the world of pre-clinical science and encourage them to pursue a career in dentistry.
Over the three days, students participated in a series of engaging, hands-on workshops, including DNA exploration from saliva, microscopic pathology, anatomical studies with silent teachers, and a DIY toothpaste-making session, providing them with invaluable real-world learning experiences.
