On September 30, 2025, the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), held a signing ceremony for the Partnership Agreement on the Establishment of a Digital Centre of Excellence with Straumann Group (Thailand) Company Limited. The agreement was signed by Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU, together with Ms. Jittra Sangkakid, Country Manager of Straumann Group (Thailand) Company Limited. In this regard, Clinical Professor Dr. Somchai Urapepon, Deputy Dean for Information Technology and Educational Support, and Assistant Professor Surakit Visuttiwattanakorn, Director of the Dental Hospital, attended as witnesses. The ceremony took place at the Sirindhorn Dental Museum, 1^st Floor, 50^th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, DTMU.

The partnership aims to establish the Digital Centre of Excellence as a national and international hub for training and development in digital dentistry. Both parties will collaborate to promote learning, research, and innovation, to enhance dental education and services in Thailand.
