On 19 September 2025, the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU) welcomed a delegation from Kunming Medical University (KMU), China, to discuss academic collaboration.

The DTMU delegation included Associate Professor Praphasri Rirattanapong, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Postgraduate Education, Associate Professor Dr. Tippanart Vichayanrat, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Organizational Communication, including the Chair of the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Oral Biology and Integrative Biomedical Science (International Program) (Multidisciplinary Program), along with program representatives.

The KMU delegation included Professor Yang Chun, Vice Dean of the School of Stomatology, and Mr. Zhao Peng, Chief of the Program Management Section, Division of International Exchange and Cooperation. The meeting focused on progress in joint curriculum development, potential establishment of the proposed Charter and College, and other possible areas of academic collaboration in the future. The discussion took place at the Faculty Meeting room on the 17^th floor of the 50^th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building.
