On August 11, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Pornpoj Fuangtharnthip, Head of the Department of Advanced General Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), warmly welcomed undergraduate dental hygienist students from the Faculty of Dentistry, Institute of Science Tokyo, Japan: Ms. Natsuki Ishii (Third year) and Ms. Kasumi Yashiro (Fourth year), for a clinical observation and student exchange program.

The program, held from August 11 to 21, 2025, provided the students with opportunities to observe clinical practices of DTMU students in the dental clinics at both DTMU and Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Dental Hospital. They also joined DTMU students in an oral health prevention program with the Department of Community Dentistry.

This visit was conducted under the MoU between the two institutions, which supports student exchange and academic collaboration. At the conclusion of the program, the students received certificates of participation from Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU.
