On June 3–4, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, together with Lecturer Dr. Dechsak Nakhapaksirat, Assistant Dean for Dental Education, attended the 2025 South and Southeast Asia Dental Conference under the theme “Uniting Dental Expertise for Regional Advancement.” The event was organized by Kunming Medical University School of Stomatology and held at Yun’an Huidu Hotel in Kunming, China. During the conference, Lecturer Dr. Dechsak Nakhapaksirat was invited as one of the keynote speakers and delivered a lecture titled “Transforming Thinking in Dental Education: Addressing Cognitive Bias to Improve Clinical Decisions.”

The conference served as a platform for sharing knowledge and exchanging experiences in oral health sciences among representatives from medical and dental institutions across South and Southeast Asia and China. Activities included scientific presentations, keynote lectures, and discussions on research and academic collaboration. Participation in this event reflected Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry’s continued commitment to promoting international cooperation and strengthening academic networks in the region.
