Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry Hosts Distributor Appointment Agreement Signing Ceremony for “M Dent Toothpaste Tablets”

On May 20, 2025, Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry hosted the signing ceremony of a distributor appointment agreement for the innovative dental product “M Dent Toothpaste Tablets”, between Mahidol University and Pharmahof Co., Ltd. Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean, presided over the event and delivered welcoming remarks. In his address, he emphasized the faculty’s commitment to translating research into impactful dental innovations, with the aim of promoting sustainable oral health while fostering commercial scalability and public health benefits.

Following this, Associate Professor Dr. Viriya Taecharungroj, Director of the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT), Mahidol University, provided an overview of the collaboration’s background and objectives. Pharmacist Mr. Chaiyasen Pisanwalert, President of Pharmahof Co., Ltd., and Ms. Yanin Pisanwalert, Chief Executive Officer, shared insights into the commercialization plan and market potential of the “M Dent Toothpaste Tablets.”

The official signing ceremony then commenced, with Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej representing the Faculty of Dentistry and Associate Professor Dr. Viriya Taecharungroj representing Mahidol University. On behalf of Pharmahof Co., Ltd., Pharmacist Mr. Chaiyasen Pisanwalert and Ms. Yanin Pisanwalert signed the agreement. The event concluded with a group photo session at the Sirindhorn Dental Museum, 1st Floor, 50th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University.

The “M Dent Toothpaste Tablets” represent a pioneering oral care innovation in the form of tablet-based toothpaste. The formulation includes a plaque-disclosing agent to enhance dental hygiene practices, along with 1,500 ppm fluoride to support effective cavity prevention.
