On March 6, 2025, Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, along with Associate Professor Dr. Tippanart Vichayanrat, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Organizational Communication, graciously presented certificates to five dentists from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR). These dentists participated in a dental training program from February 3 – March 6, 2025, at Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry:

2. Ms. Sengsouvanh Vilaysan, Dentist, Bokeo Provincial Hospital
3. Mr. Kokham Manypakone, Dentist, Xieng Khouang Province Hospital
4. Ms. Phetthong Khameye, Dentist, Hospital of Meuang Paklay
5. Ms. Vasin Vanhluengxay, Dentist, Public Health Service Center, Houaphanh Province

The Training Program in Technology of Medicine and Public Health for Health Personnel from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Batch 27), an initiative launched by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, aimed to provide the Lao PDR personnel with opportunities to exchange knowledge and experiences in dentistry. It also included presentations on the development of medical and public health practices, reflecting the strong collaboration between Thailand and Lao PDR. This initiative helps enhance the capabilities of health personnel and improve the quality of medical services, particularly in Lao PDR.
