The Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Dentistry, Niigata University, Japan, hosted the “International Collaborative Symposium on Development of Human Resources in Practical Oral Health and Treatment 2024” from May 31 to June 1, 2024, at Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel.

Associate Professor Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication at Mahidol University, and Professor Makoto Inoue, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Niigata University, delivered the opening remarks.

The event was attended by Clinical Professor Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Mahidol University; Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Deputy Dean; and Clinical Professor Dr. Siriruk Nakornchai, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Postgraduate Education, along with other faculty executives. Several lecturers from the Faculty of Dentistry also contributed presentations on the following topics:

On this occasion, graduate students from the pediatric dentistry program participated in a cultural performance showcasing Thai culture during the Gala Dinner event.

This academic conference was organized to commemorate the 56^th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of Dentistry at Mahidol University. Its purpose was to facilitate the exchange of knowledge in oral health sciences and to enhance the relationship between the Faculty of Dentistry at Mahidol University and the Faculty of Dentistry at Niigata University. These two institutions have had an agreement for academic and research collaboration, as well as student exchange, since 2018.
