Postgraduate students participated in a study visit and clinical observation program in Oral Medicine and Periodontology.

Postgraduate Dental Students from MAHSA University, Malaysia, Visit DTMU

March 9-20, 2026

On March 4, 2026, the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU) welcomed Ms. Yukino MASAKI (3rd year), Mr. Eiki HASEGAWA (1st year), Mr. Sora NAKAJIMA (1st year), and Ms. Fuka USHITO (1st year), dental students from the Faculty of Dentistry, Niigata University, Japan, for a clinical observation program. During their visit, they observed dental practices and clinical sessions at the Dental Hospital, DTMU, and the Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Dental Hospital from March 4–6, 2026. Dr. Jin MAGARA also accompanied the students as their faculty advisor.

On this occasion, Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU, presented certificates to the students for their participation. The activity was conducted under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on student exchange between the two institutions, reflecting the strong relationship and the continued promotion of internationalization in dental education.

On March 9, 2026, the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU) welcomed Dr. Geraldine Natasha Stephen, Dr. Yeu Kai Zhe, and Dr. Chattaroo Adnan Muhammad Issac, postgraduate dental students from the Faculty of Dentistry, MAHSA University, Malaysia, for a study visit and clinical observation program. During their visit, they observed clinical practices at the Oral Medicine and Periodontology department and the Periodontic Clinic, Dental Hospital, DTMU, from March 9–20, 2026. On this occasion, Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU, presented certificates to the students in recognition of their participation.

This study visit reflects the academic collaboration between the two institutions, both of which are members of the International Dental Collaboration of the Mekong River Region (IDCMR). DTMU is also one of the founding members and continues to play an active role in promoting academic collaboration in dental education across the region.
