On August 13, 2025, the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), held annual orientation to prepare second-year dental students for the 2025 academic year. The day commenced with a welcome address from Associate Professor Dr. Somsak Mitrirattanakul, Deputy Dean for Undergraduate Education, followed by an opening speech from Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU.

The main session provided students with a wealth of crucial information. This included an introduction to Student Affairs by Assistant Professor Patr Pujarern, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni Relations, and an explanation of the Advisor System by Associate Professor Dr. Pornpoj Fuangtharnthip, Chairman of the Advisor Committee.

The academic offerings were then presented in detail. Associate Professor Praphasri Rirattanapong Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Postgraduate Education, along with Associate Professor Dr. Kongthawat Chairatvit, Program Chair for Oral Biology and Integrated Biomedical Sciences (International Program), introduced the DDS program and the international Master’s program. This was followed by an introduction to the Master of Management program by faculty from the College of Management, Mahidol University (CMMU).

Doctor of Dental Surgery Program (Thai Program):

An orientation session was held to prepare students for the Doctor of Dental Surgery Program, led by Associate Professor Dr. Pattarawadee Leelataweewud, Chair of the Thai DDS Program. The session included an introduction to the DT-EDU system (Information Technology System for Educational Administration) and the Moodle system, presented by Undergraduate Dental Education Unit. The event took place at the Debaratana Auditorium, 4^th Floor, 50^th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building.

Doctor of Dental Surgery Program (International Program):

An orientation session was held to introduce the learning system and prepare students for the International DDS Program, led by Professor Dr. Waranun Buajeeb, Chair of the International DDS Program. Additionally, Assistant Professor Patr Pujarern, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni Relations, provided an overview of student affairs, scholarships, awards, and welfare. This session was held at Meeting Room 302, 3^rd Floor, 50^th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building.
