On July 30, 2025, Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), presided over the opening of the academic lecture titled
“Oral Health Promotion and Practical Practice for At-Home Oral Care: How to Provide Preventive Services for the Elderly and Special Needs?” Organized by Mahidol Dental Education Center (MDEC) and Academic Service Center at DTMU, the event aimed to provide participants with knowledge and practical approaches for delivering preventive oral health services at home, especially for elderly individuals and those with special needs.

The lecture featured a series of insightful sessions by distinguished speakers:

• At-Home Oral Care for Homebound Patients: How to Make It Work by Dr. Kulaya Ratanapridakul, with Associate Professor Kanyawat Rattanasuwan, Dr. Kanokwan Urthamapimuk, Lecturer Dr. Sirinthip Amornsuradech and Lecturer Dr. Panupol Kunasarapun
• “Know Before You Go”: Can Private Providers Offer Home Dental Services? by Dr. Akom Praditsuwan and Lecturer Poonpon Khowiboonchai
• Advanced Oral Hygiene Practice Workshop by Dr. Kanokwan Urthamapimuk with Lecturer Dr. Raksanan Karawekpanyawong, Dr. Kullanant Pansrimangkorn and Lecturer Pemmika Intato
