On April 28, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University, presided over the opening ceremony of the training program “Expert Perspective: Advancing Your Skill in Crown Lengthening (Re-Run)”. The program was organized by the Department of Oral Medicine and Periodontology, in collaboration with the Mahidol Dental Education Center (MDEC) and the Academic Service Center, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University.

The program featured expert faculty in the field of periodontology as keynote speakers. It aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and understanding of the principles, indications, and surgical procedures for functional and esthetic crown lengthening. Additionally, the course emphasized interdisciplinary collaboration between periodontics and prosthodontics, as well as between periodontics and restorative dentistry. Participants also gained hands-on experience in crown lengthening surgery, focusing on correct and effective surgical techniques. The training was held online via Zoom and Facebook Group from April 28–29, 2025, with an on-site hands-on session conducted on April 30, 2025, at the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University.
