On April 10, 2026, Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Program at Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), underwent an official accreditation assessment by the Thai Dental Council. Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU, along with the executive team, warmly welcomed the curriculum evaluation subcommittee, which included:

• Associate Professor Prathip Phantumvanit (Chairman of the Subcommittee)
• Dr. Adirek Sriwatanawongsa (Subcommittee Member)
• Dr. Piyada Prasertsom (Subcommittee Member)
• Assistant Professor Dr. Narumanas Korwanich (Subcommittee Member)
• Assistant Professor Chonatee Chinkrua (Subcommittee Member and Secretary)

During the visit, the executive team and the DDS curriculum management committee attended a comprehensive presentation by the program directors. The assessment process also involved in-depth interviews with faculty members and student representatives, as well as a tour of the laboratories and clinical facilities utilized for teaching and practical training.

Following the thorough evaluation, the subcommittee provided valuable feedback and presented a preliminary assessment report at the Faculty Committee Meeting Room, 17^th Floor, 50^th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building. The event was successfully organized by the Dental Education Unit.
