Redesignation of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry as a WHO Collaborating Center
World Health Organization has designated Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry as a WHO Collaborating Center (WHOCC) for Oral Health Education and Research for the third consecutive time since 2015.
The current designation as a WHO Collaborating Center will be effective for a period of four years from February 16, 2023, until February 16, 2027.
With the current Terms of Reference, our role as a WHO CC will be:
TOR 1. To assist WHO in strengthening the implementation of the WHO Action
Plan on Oral Health of the South East Asia Region 2022-2030
TOR 2. To support WHO in accelerating implementation of the phasing down in
use of dental amalgam in line with WHO’s recommendations on mercury
TOR 3. To support WHO by generating evidence to promote effective oral health
promotion and disease prevention
