On March 23, 2026, the Student Affairs and Alumni Relations Unit, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), organized the “Senior Farewell Week: Empowering Skills for 21st Century Dentists.” The event was held at Debaratana Auditorium on the 4th floor on the 50th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, with Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU, presiding over the opening ceremony.
The morning sessions were dedicated to mental fortitude and essential life management skills:
Inspirational Talk: “New World on the Same World” by Khun Ya Ketnipa Tanjararak, recipient of the 2025 National Mother of the Year Award. She shared profound life experiences and positive mindsets to encourage soon-to-be graduates as they transition into their professional roles.
Financial Workshop: “Tax Literacy and Financial Planning for New Professionals” by Mr. Thanom Ketem, from the Facebook page “TaxBugnoms”. The session provided practical guidance on income management and systematic financial planning, crucial for modern dental practitioners.
The afternoon session focused on academic and career advancement for 5th and 6th-year dental students from both the Thai and International programs. Associate Professor Dr. Pornpoj Fuangtharnthip, Chair of the Advisory Committee, delivered the opening remarks. Highlights included:
