On January 21, 2026, Data and Information Technology Section of Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), organized a training session titled “Information Security and Cybersecurity Awareness.” The event aimed to strengthen digital immunity and enhance security awareness among staff, held at Debaratana Auditorium on the 4^th floor on the 50^th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU, who emphasized that organizational security starts with individual awareness.

The session featured expert speakers who shared insights and best practices:

• Sanphop Pornwattanakit, Vice President and Head of Legal Committee, Thai Personal Date Protection Auditors and Consultants Association
• Phonlawat Sampuongbun, Manager of Security & Compliance Consultant, CyberSecX Co., Ltd.

Key highlights included Safe AI & Cloud usage, Threat Defense strategies against phishing and malware, and Data Privacy protection standards. This initiative reflects DTMU’s commitment to mitigating data risks and elevating the trustworthiness of the organization’s digital infrastructure.
